Navi has always been a bit on an enigma for those of us that haven’t yet dined there. We know it is one of the West’s most illustrious dining spots, with rave reviews and awarded chef hats. And we also know that because it’s so good, it can be hard to get a booking.

But! Navi Lounge gives us access to what’s behind the velvet curtain, without the long booking list, and still with the opportunity to try Chef Julians famed fare.

The space is stunning - not surprisingly. It is dimly lit, but the afternoon suns shines through the sheer curtains, and you know you are somewhere special.

The staff are top tier and charming, and can guide you through some excellent drink and bar snack offerings. The menu will have you trying things you never thought you would, like salt and vinegar fish skins, salmon roe macaroons, or the green ant martini.

And we loved it all.

It is best to book here but they always have space for walk ins too. A perfect spot for a drink or two with friends or date night.
