Hop Nation has been situated here for quite some time. If you didn’t know about it, that’s okay—it's a hidden gem nestled down a laneway in an industrial part of Footscray.

Mamma is here to officially introduce you to this place, so you'll have zero excuses now! Hop Nation boasts a new and fabulous taproom, and it is a must-visit. Consider yourself officially informed.

The brick taproom and brewery are ginormous, with old warehouse charm, fantastic modern features, the tallest wooden ceilings, barrels, chimneys, bars, tables, and of course, beer! Really good beer.

Not sure what to try? That's okay; you can get a tasting paddle and give a few a go. Mamma loves the pale ale and the J.Juice. There are also a sour, IPA, hazy, and other craft beers that are all worth trying. In terms of food, they usually serve pizza from Good Pizza, but we had the chance to try some fare from a guest chef, which was delicious. Keep an eye on their socials for updates on what they're serving.

There is plenty of room to sit and relax, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the whole warehouse, complete with 'the' coveted couchy corner! Downstairs has ample tables to choose from too. Mamma says this is worth checking out—definitely book a table to avoid disappointment

It is a great place to meet friends or catch up with family for a relaxed afternoon of locally made beer.
