Ok, so Mamma may have got a little lost so here is a tip - look for the wine barrel signpost on Watton Street, then follow the signs through the corridor to the secret entrance…..….(shhh it’s behind the wine bottle wall) then press the right bottle, push the door and you are in.

Welcome to Corked! The curved walls, velvet lounge area, and the red glow of the wine cellar create an immediate warm ambiance to sit and sip, and enjoy a charcuterie or antipasto platter. It is class all the way here and we love it.
The whole space has a cosy underground cave feel about it and you instantly feel like you are miles away! There is also an outdoor area with riverfront views, umbrellas or heaters - depending on the weather.

The menu is simple and the wine selection is fantastic. You’ll find reds, whites, sparkling and rose, some spirits plus an Italian beer to please all bevvy tastes! Corked is the kind of place you go to for an hour and could stay until close! We can only imagine what it would be like packed with locals, grab some friends and enjoy what will become a very popular place!

Mamma’s special mentions: They are soon to launch their ‘hot food’ share plate options like fancy arancini, duck fat chips, delicious croquets and a house special focaccia. We will have to come back and do a taste test and report back…damn!
