BOREALIS on the lake, daylesford
/What a fabulous winter adventure! Borealis is back again in Daylesford and it is an adventure not to be missed. As you would expect from a wintry outdoor event, Mamma and little miss 7 were treated to a little combination of rain and wind but that didn’t dampen our experience.
The chaotic, mesmerising movement of light combined with the music is just amazing.
Mamma says this mesmerising installation - BOREALIS on the Lake definitely keeps its promise. Bringing the beauty of the Northern Lights to Lake Daylesford, this adventure is something really special for the whole family.
Hot tip: rug up and bring an umbrella. The weather is a little unpredictable but that’s also the best part as the truth is once you arrive, you won’t want to leave as it is pretty magical. It is running rain or hail!
Oh and there are food trucks onsite, grab something to eat and make a night of it.
We couldn’t agree more with their description - ‘Surreal is the only way to describe how it feels as you watch the lights dance across the lake’
