Elká Sushi takes fresh sushi to a whole new level! Located across the road from its sister store the iconic D & K Live Seafood, it uses the freshest ingredients to make amazing delicious dishes.

On a nice day Leeds Street is the place to be in Footscray, there is a real buzz with people shopping and dining in cafes, restaurants and on the street. Elka Sushi is in the midst of the vibe.

The restaurant is more of a ‘made to order’ takeaway spot but there is some indoor seating inside and a few seats outside if you are lucky enough to grab them.

The menu consists of some amazing Maki options grilled king salmon, miso king salmon, spicy bluefin tuna and we opted for the crunchy king prawn! So fresh and tasty. They also have nigiri, sashimi, chirashi and rice bowls and more.

You’ll also notice the large fish hanging in the window dry ageing - this is what makes Elka Sushi so delicious. Everything is the best quality and created with artistic expertise. They also even make their own soy sauce. Just note, that you won’t find a California roll or a bento box here but you will be treated to something absolutely delicious.
