The quality of the seafood here is undeniable. This is owned and operated by the Tran family, D&K has chefs from all over Melbourne ordering up some of their fine seafood.

We were in the neighbourhood to check out Elka Sushi across the road and found ourselves loving a browse and some freshly shucked oysters if you don’t mind!

D & K have been around for 25 years but we hadn’t been since they renovated early in 2023 and we love the refresh!

Did you know that D&K are the only place in Australia where you can purchase oysters still submerged in water - you can buy them shucked or un shucked to take away, or find yourself a spot outside on the bustling Leeds Street tables. They are sourced from the best oyster farms all over Australia too - places like Coffin Bay, Freycinet in Tassie among others.

You can also get the freshest salmon, trout, abalone, sea urchin, lobster, crabs (including GIANT King crabs), even sea snails. Most of the seafood is live and it’s fascinating to take a wander around, and you can grab and go filleted and prepped seafood from the next room.
