The Steam Packet in Williamstown is a nice mix of pub and restaurant, it is warm, cosy, has a great menu for kids and big people - with your usual pub grub plus some more fancy options.
The service is great, and Mamma's crew love the little colouring in sheets and crayons - good time fillers waiting for your very promptly served meals.
It's location just off Nelsons Place makes it a perfect pit stop post or pre adventures in Commonwealth Reserve or along Gem Pier - there is even a playground across the road.
Oh - and kids eat FREE here on Tuesdays (with the purchase of a main meal) - perfection!
