Well, this is a genius idea. La Bodega is a barber by day, craft beer bar on Saturday nights! Not only is it a fantastic use of the space, but it just gives the place a fun and relaxed vibe. The comfortable banquet seating, and speakeasy feel makes it a place where you just want to sit and relax for a couple of hours. Owners Shaun and Daniel took over the barbershop late last year and decided to add the idea of a bar, once the beard trimmers and Brylcream get locked away at the end of the day on Saturdays. Adults can grab a drink while getting their trims during the day of course, and the kids LOVED the complimentary free soft drink.
During the week when the shop is open you can get take aways, but on Saturdays from 5pm, pop in for a couple of cans with a mate or two - and order dinner from any of the fantastic eateries nearby like Rosa Mexicana or Burger Culture.
