Look out, Altona is fast becoming the new Footscray with some great food and bevvie choices! Mamma got to have a cheeky sneak peek at this new and much anticipated bar that has just opened in in Harrington Square in Altona!

We know the locals have been watching this space and we also know everyone is going to LOVE it! Grab a friend or three and choose to cosy up on the comfy couches in the cocktail nook, saddle up at the bar, gather in a booth or soak in the sun in the bright beer garden. The fit out is vintage art deco and a whole lot of cool.

Local owners Madie and Sean are passionate Altona residents. They are looking forward to welcoming you through the door, just as soon as they get the green light to open! Cocktails, beer, a port or a wine - whatever your tipple, amazing bar manager Cate will sort you out. So stay tuned!

Oh just in case you were wondering….Joliet is a reference to The Blues Brothers movie.

Mamma’s special mention: They serve up bar snacks here at Joliet, chips, jerky etc - but if you need something more substantial Harrington square has some great places to grab a feed before or during your visit - Oye Bombay is amazing, Birdcage Cafe is here, The Wee Kitchen and 6th Child all great!
