Mamma and the kids just adore this gorgeous, big bookshop cafe on Barkly St, WeFo!
We first enjoyed this bookshop by ordering online back in lockdown days, and now can enjoy the wide spaces, have a coffee in a nook, get cosy on the little sofa or bring a laptop down to use the share table. This is a great space to just be in.
A point of difference here and something Mamma loves is the bookshop particularly showcases authors of colour and authors from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
Want a particular book, or maybe need the perfect gift for someone special? The magic bookfairy Reem will help you! She is a Westie local and has created a warm and luxurious space here where you can browse and buy vinyl records, cards, totes and of course tons and tons of non-fiction, fiction and children’s books. There is even a special kids nook!
At the cafe, there is delicious Rumble coffee, babycinos with mega-sized marshmallows, Mork hot choc and some delicate treats at the counter.
