mount zero olives warehouse, sunshine west
/What a glorious discovery Mamma made recently, we visited the wonderful Mount Zero Olives warehouse in Sunshine West! The warehouse sells all of Mount Zero’s magnificent products from their farm on the edge of the Grampians National Park, direct to customer.
Grab your spare bottles, jars and produce bags and head on down to stock up on the most beautiful olive oil, naturally fermented olives, and local pink lake salt, dried legumes, chickpeas, Market Lane coffee beans, pasta and rice IN BULK!
There is even more local produce to buy as well, like Mabu Mabu spices, Meredith Dairy goat cheese, Schultz Dairy milk in refillable glass bottles and lots of other delicious deli staples. Too many ideas for dinner? Buy a cookbook! Yes, they even sell the cookbooks of fabulous Melbourne cooks like the talented Julia Busuttil Nishimura.
A garden, grassy area and some seating outside means you can bring some complimentary supplies and make a picnic of your visit! The kids will enjoy running around and spotting insects among the veggies plots.
Mamma’s special mentions: Mount Zero Olives hosts a market here about 4 times a year, on a Saturday - be sure to check it out!
There’s stalls selling bread, terrines, miso and filter coffee to name a few - all of which pairs perfectly with some Mount Zero wild olives if you ask Mamma!
