Looking for outdoor summer fun that the whole family can enjoy? Something that doesn't cost the earth and is all in the one 'hassle free' spot? Mamma has found it! The Lara Pool Complex had some upgrades a few years ago so there is heaps of shade sails, grassy picnic spots, tables and park benches BUT the showstopper is the adventure water play pirate ship - with three slides, water canons, treasure chest's, splash barrels and fountains - this place is a guarantee for some 'cool' fun - reminder - only open for 24 degrees and above.

Aside from the ship, Mamma loves that the kids area for a couple of reasons.

A) it's completely fitted out with soft fall to cushion any slips and stumbles
B) the kids area is fenced off from the main pool
C) the paddling pool is shaded making it seriously perfect for tots and us sun wary Mamma's.

Want more? How about a 50m lap pool, great changing facilities, free parking, kiosk and school holiday programs. BAM - BOOM. Summer heaven.
