If you know Banksy and his work, or even if you don’t, this exhibition is well worth checking out. Mamma recognised some of these iconic pieces, and this is a chance to learn their origin stories—when they first appeared, where, and why.
There are also intriguing and profoundly moving works we had no idea Banksy was responsible for.
The exhibition is excellently set up, with plenty of room and simple, easy-to-read information plaques.
Most of the imagery has a deeper meaning than you might think, so take your time to ponder what’s behind the art and the artist.
