Altona is rich with playgrounds and parks dotted all the way along the beach and foreshore. Apex Park is one of our all time favourite playgrounds and it has just got better over the years. New play equipment and entry way, exercise equipment, toilets, the dog park fencing and gorgeous trees - it’s always clean and green.

This is a perfect option for adventure for the whole family with a cute playground suitable for toddlers and a big grassy area where the kids can run... and run.... and run! There are also fantastic pathways where Mamma taught her kids to ride their bikes.

Mamma says it's a good idea to take your togs and a towel as it is right on the beach and a great place to collect shell treasures. With bay views, toilet block, shady picnic tables and BBQ's, this fab spot is great for gatherings and also plays host to the Circus when in town, car shows and even kite flying events!
