eynesbury market, eynesbury
/If you like your markets with fresh country air and 'pretty as a picture' surroundings then head on out to Eynesbury. On once a month on a Sunday, with some stalls to stock up on bits and bobs for the family for the week - veggies, fruit, meat, cheeses, breads and to stock up the tummy while you're there - like the ever popular twisty tasty taters, delicious crepes, doughnuts and hot strong coffee. (Often these trucks do change…..just keep that in mind)
There is a picnic table section in the centre where you can pull up a chair and grab a bite - or over the fence there are the gardens and buildings of Eynesbury House to take full advantage of and enjoy.
The greatest part of the market (according to the kids) is the amazing interactive elements - *there is often a petting zoo, reptile encounters tent and even SOMETIMES the Eyensbury Country Fire Authority has a truck parked so the kids can hold a hose and have a little tour of the truck!
Whatever is on offer we love this market it all makes for a lovely day out with the family.
*Please note: Markets change their lineup of fun without notifying us - we just report on what we find on the day.
If you want to make sure a certain element of fun is happening for you or your little one - contact the market directly - their FACEBOOK is always a good option!
Mamma's special mention: Melton is 20 minutes away - for a great playground head to Bridge Road Regional Playspace
