williamstown italian social club, williamstown
/Wow, this place has some history…this lovely old building has had many forms - built in 1907, it was originally an open air movie theatre, then in the 50’s the brick facade was built and it continued showing movies up until the 60’s, where it was a roller skating rink AND then a table tennis hall. But since the 70’s it has been home to the Williamstown Italian Social Club - the heart of the local Italian community.
NOW, to enjoy this space you don’t need to be Italian! Although Mamma is sure to have some Italian down the line! Come along on Fridays for an all you can eat Italian feast for a $25 ($25 adults $15 kids) handmade Italian buffet and live music, or the special movie nights, or come along to the many events they have throughout the year. Mamma loves the old bocce court to the side of the building and the vintage Italian posters! That’s amore!
