Oh sister, what a feed!
Wasshoi serves Japanese street food - and like their catch phrase says, they’re All Fired Up! Think sticky, soft, charcoal infused meat, like melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, and 10 hour slow cooked beef brisket - sensational stars that sit atop divine bowls of flavoursome ramen and don, and stuffed into tiger rolls like a Japanese banh mi.
There are also wonderful veggo options, as well as bites like chicken karaage, tempura prawn and miso soup, making it more difficult for you to pick what to eat. Mamma won’t judge you for eating one of everything, because EVERYTHING here is seriously ahhhhhmazing!
Saddled beside a servo and a Pizza Hut, this little Japanese grill is an unlikely find. With original recipes from the iconic Iron Chef Ikuei Arakane, as well as a few more, the dishes are generous, affordable and most importantly… TASTY!
The friendly owners are super proud of their eatery, and so they should be! It’s intimate (just like all great restaurants are in Japan) so get in early to grab a spot or book a table for dinner or lunch.
