tina's dumpling house, altona
/Nope, dumplings are definitely not new to the west, we have some excellent places to get these soft, heavenly parcels of deliciousness in Footscray and Sunshine etc - so why are all the locals talking about Tina’s in Altona? Well, Mamma loves this place ‘cause it’s relaxed, simple, welcoming, and the food is just YUM. There’s plenty of space and the place feels just like when Mamma used to go to the local Chinese with her Mamma! There are even a couple of tables with lazy susan’s down the back. There’s plenty of tables to choose from or you can grab a booth, whatever suits the fam.
There’s more on the menu than dumplings too (about 7 types of dumplings - veg/pork/chicken/prawn mixes, both steamed and pan fried) - and heaps for the kids with spring rolls, rice, and plenty more to choose from. Mamma is looking forward to washing down some dumplings and sweet and sour pork with a cheeky beer this summer after spending the day at the beach!
