sweet adeline cafe, south geelong

Oh my, Sweet Adeline is the most gorgeous little cafe located right on the Barwon River - Mamma says it’s a real hidden gem!

This cafe has such a sweet soul - it’s so homely, you’ll feel it from the minute you walk in. Centred around a 1950’s caravan named Teddy (inside is where all the coffee goodness is created), you’ll feel like you’re in your own little holiday oasis, especially with the relaxing jazz music playing in the background!

The menu is devine too! Grab yourself a beef or bacon and egg burger, or a scrumptious toastie (so many to choose from like ham and cheese, chicken, and even a vegan option) and enjoy amongst the chilled atmosphere. We really love the coffee and treats too - Mamma’s mini especially loves the baby platter, filled with a baby chino with all the trimmings, and a cookie - YUM!

A super kid friendly cafe - there’s a cute little sandpit with a table set, some toys, and chalk to write and draw on the black walls and floors! And bring your doggies - they are ALL welcome!

To get there - park your car at the bottom of Swanston Street right at the Troop Loop walk - turn left and walk 300m and you'll see Sweet Adeline to your left!

The perfect pitstop if you’re on a walk with your furry friends or your family along the river - check it out!
