Food. Coffee. Local. This is the tag line, and these are some of Mamma’s favourite things! State Line is a nice little spot in the collection of shops on Military Road in Avondale Heights serving some great food and wonderful coffee.

Although there isn’t a kids menu, there are some colouring pencils and paper to keep the kiddies occupied at the table and a lot of dishes on the main menu can be adapted to suit little eaters.

There is plenty of indoor and some outdoor seating here. Pastries, sweets and brekky burgers are available in the display cabinet for a bite on the run, or of course to enjoy dining in.

Mamma had the rueben which comes with hot chippies, and it was delish. Since visiting, the cafe are in the process of creating a mural on the big wall by the bench seating so we can’t wait to visit again when that’s done!
