one for the crow, maidstone

If you’re looking for a kid-friendly plant based cafe, One for the Crow has got to be on your list!

This gorgeous and locally popular cafe is still dishing up some scrumptious plant based, vegan food.

Sit back and relax in this light filled cafe, or dine in the converted skip out the front! Even if you’re a meat eater, you’ll hardly notice anything missing here. Mamma’s BLT with soy facon and vegan mayo was so smokey and delicious - it was better than the original!

Nothing beats a leafy green setting with good coffee except when it’s matched with their signature house made vegan waffles topped with house made not-ella, soy ice cream, caramelised banana and real maple syrup. Yummo!

Back when Mamma first visited in 2018, we met the lovely duo behind this establishment, Taze and Stephanie, and was blown away by these young guns. At only 24 and 27 (Mamma felt positively ancient), Taze and Stephanie met at a café in the West and fell in love. The soon to be married couple immediately hatched a plan to own their own café and channel their experience in hospitality to make this lovely addition to the West. In true Westie community spirit, they were guided by a fellow café owner, Lee from Brother Nancy who they both thanked.

Mamma loves coming back for revisits and finding outstanding coffee and food again and again!
