Meerkat Bistro has always been a fave spot to drop into before and after we do some animal adventures at Werribee Open Range Zoo.

What could be more fun than snacking on some yummy lunch in the company of a family of Meerkats to watch over you and vice versa! The bistro and Meerkat enclosure now has a new section added called Meerkat Mayhem Playspace!

The area is located next to the back of the bistro - so you can relax with a coffee or meal on the deck as the kids play in the space and sandpit, climb on the logs and rocks and pretend to be part of the Meerkat action as they dig in the sand, jump and play. Oh and check out their birthday party packages!

Mamma's special mentions: the Meerkat feeding times and keeper talks are a good time to visit - these little critters are so cute and kids will love taking advantage of all the Meerkat fun to be had. Be sure to arrive before 10:45am to catch their daily Keeper talk.
