kosaten japanese sushi train, geelong

If you blink as you go past this cute Japanese diner in Ryrie Street Geelong, you will surely miss it - and Mamma says, you DON’T want to miss it!

Just look for the cute logo and then enter into a gorgeous, dimly lit space with pops of colour, and anime characters throughout.

The diner goes a long way back, and has a few eating sections - the front booths, then up the hallway to the mid dining section, plus there are a few private dining areas up the back.

All tables are serviced by the ‘train’, just choose your order via the tablet on the table and then wait for your delivery! It’s fun and efficient!

We LOVE the food here - heaps of your Japanese faves, with everything from plain sushi rolls, ceviche, fried chicken, nigiri, gyoza - and the desserts are great too with mochi ice cream, chocolate spring roll with ice cream or pannacotta with matcha ice cream - ALL were excellent.

The space is family friendly and there are always other families here, kids love the train and all little anime characters throughout! A must visit!
