You’d be forgiven for thinking Eleni’s Kitchen and Bar has been around for generations. It has a warm family feel and delicious authentic Greek food. Well in a way, it has! This family run restaurant has deep roots in Yarraville with current owners (and sisters) Anatoli and Eleftheria’s father and uncle running a popular Greek restaurant opposite Sun Theatre in the 70’s and close relatives owning local coffee and butcher shops. All the recipes are from the girls Yiayyia, Eleni (and the restaurants namesake), and also Greek Chef Christos Katapodis.
Mamma loves the warm indoor atmosphere and now they have a stunning terrace and open area out the back for warmer days. Keep an eye out for when they have a band too! Opa!!
