2023 is the year of the hot pot, Mamma thinks! We are starting to see these yummy spots popping up everywhere, especially in the city, but there are always long queues out the door. So, we are so happy to now have one in Footscray - enter the Dragon Hot Pot!

This is unlike any hot pot Mamma has been to before. Let’s walk through the steps.
Step 1 - Pick a pot (actually as many pots as you want!)
Step 2 - Select your ingredients with the tongs provided. Choose your noodles, proteins, and veggies and extras like wontons and Chinese donuts.
Step 3 - Take it to the counter and select a broth
Step 4 - Pay (by weight).
Step 5 - SLURP and enjoy!

The friendly and efficient staff then cook your hot pot for you and bring it to your table. There are dipping sauces and water stations available as well as smaller bowls and cutlery for the kids too!

Mamma says this is the perfect family dining experience for kids - it’s really time efficient! PLUS, because you’re just paying by weight, you can select multiple broths meaning the kids can share the mild one while Mamma tucks into the sour and spicy Szechuan!
