We feel like there is never enough time in one day to do all the things we want to do at Sovereign Hill, so this is the perfect solution. We also have a bit of a Day IN Sovereign Hill itinerary you can check out as well.

We stayed in one of the spacious Colonial Rooms with a King bed and bunk beds for the kids. It is all in the one self-contained space with a big separate bathroom and an enclosed 'courtyard' to the side.

It also includes breakfast in the La Trobe Dining Room (a full continental buffet offering a hot breakfast selection). Which was very nice!

The best part, of course, is the location to Sovereign Hill - your door key gives you access to a secret entrance to the goldfields area, about a 1 or 2 minute walk - so you can head back to your room any time for a rest if you need to!

Mamma's special mentions: Make the most of your stay and get the two day Sovereign hill pass, it doesn't cost any extra but you have to use the pass over two consecutive days.
