Mamma's love for road trips is matched only by her love for castles and Kryal Castle is a fun day for everyone! Now, with the addition of a BIG4 Holiday Park, it's the perfect destination for a weekend of fun and play.

We arrived at the park around at about midday and decided to spend a few hours exploring Kryal Castle before checking into our cabin at 2pm. Our castle fun did not disappoint, with plenty of exciting activities and sights to see. Don’t miss the jousting!

After settling into our cosy cabin, we returned to the castle for more exploring and activities. Then as the sun began to set over the hills, we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the deck, taking in the stunning views from the top of the hill.

Overall, this is a fantastic day filled with adventure and beautiful scenery. Whether you're a fan of all things medieval or just looking for a fun weekend getaway, Kryal Castle and the BIG4 Holiday Park should definitely be on your list of places to visit.

Please note: The holiday park is very new and there are plans to include a container pool at some point., games rooms for kids and a playground is coming soon too so keep an eye out for when those open.

Whilst there are camping amenities here also, the grounds are still under some construction and once complete the park will be lovely.

For now, the cabins and tiny homes are a great way to make the most of your trip to Kryal Castle and even a chance to visit what Ballarat has to offer too!
