This Father’s Day weekend, come along to ‘Welcoming the Babies,’ the one-stop shop for all things early parenthood.

Connect with local support services, meet other new families and enjoy an afternoon of family fun with your little ones!

'Welcoming the Babies' is all about welcoming and supporting new parents and their little ones. We know that being a new parent can be scary, so there’ll be plenty of resources and support to help ease the transition into parenthood. It’s also a chance to connect with other new parents in the community and share tips and tricks. There’ll be plenty of fun activities for kids as well, so feel free to bring along the whole gang!

There'll be:

Booths run by local support services and organisations, including Services Australia, Tweddle, the Australian Breastfeeding Association, St John Ambulance and more
Fun activities for the kids, including face-painting and arts and crafts
Afternoon tea and coffee
Goodie bags for every family, including a booklet of resources to help you on your early parenting journey
A raffle with parenting prizes to be won!
