Sherman Mattresses was started by Melbourne Kirsty Day in 2018. Kirsty has been in the industry for more years than she'll tell us! She's been a sort of 'mattress chef' of sorts. The ideal mattress is based on refining a recipe, designing her mattress creation over years of trial and development until it's 'Just Perfect'.
Kirsty was disappointed at the industry’s over-priced cost of a good night's sleep. Sleep, in her eyes, is one of the most important things you can do to maintain your health. She approaches her business with the idea that health is paramount. With fears that a lack of sleep can affect not just physical but mental health, and with the rise in depression in Australia, Kirsty decided to do something about it.
Good, healthy sleep shouldn't cost an arm and a leg, and it shouldn't be compromised with average quality, short-lifespan materials.
This is her passion, she's inspiring. She knows one thing and she wanted to do something with it for the better. We commend her for it.
