Mamma loves Cherry Lake - it is a beautiful spot to walk, run, play and catch up with friends!

From now until April 22 you can visit the lovely Sea Flowers floating on the lake! Bring a picnic to the lush grass next to the lake, then scan the QR code to reveal music and a host of voices telling stories about this spot and what it means to people locally. Discover the history of the lake from marshland to car racetrack to what is now home for water birds and other small creatures.

Mamma went at sunset and it was just lovely!

Oh there is a VERY special event happening on April 22 from 5pm to 7pm. Bring a picnic dinner and rug, or foldout chair, and hear water inspired music, local lake stories over a large PA.

As the sun sets there will be small kayaks on the water and performance at the water’s edge.
