mamma's hot tips for lost lands festival 2019
/You can be sure Team Mamma and their little crew will return and have an absolute ball at The Lost Lands Festival this Melbourne Cup Weekend. This is a festival like no other - perfect for families. Last year was amazing - did you hear the lions in the morning? Roar!
We rocked up to the campgrounds early and excited, were met with plenty of signs and friendly faces to show us where to go and where to park. Our designated campsite area was freshly mowed with lots of soft grass to pitch our tent. The facilities for families in the camping area were excellent, including mums and bubs tents, showers, charging stations, cleaning facilities, an info tent and coffee and food vans.
It’s time to dust off the old festival boots and camping gear and get the kids geared up for an epic weekend of fun. We recommend getting into the festival spirit by decorating your temporary home, donning appropriate festival clothes and checking the program before heading into Werribee Mansion’s magnificent gardens.
Once again, there is an awesome line-up of music, kids entertainment, creative activities for families, bars, art installations, food and fun. Personal highlights for us this year are Gomez, Regurgitator, Nicky Bomba, Baker Boy and Sleeping Bag Cinema and we can't wait to catch Adam Page again and get in some exercise with the Morning Gloryville crew
You can choose to go for the full three days or a single day, camp or not to camp at all! The event is really flexible to families’ needs. If an option, it’s well worth camping for the atmosphere and excitement of setting up a tent with other families. Here’s our camping checklist. Hope to see you there!
