Container Deposit Scheme in the West!

The CDS - Container Return Scheme has been a huge success since it was implemented last year. Mamma says it is a great way to recycle AND earn some extra dollars - especially for the kiddos OR even fundraise for your local community groups or charities.
There are SO MANY locations around the west - chances are you drive by at least one every day! By August this year there will be about 600 locations too.
Generally, they are conveniently located near shopping centres making it the perfect time to do CDS drop off when you are headed to the shops! Handy!
BUT - not all locations are the Reverse Vending Machine’s (RVM) either, there are plenty of over the counter options at local stores too, so be sure to check for your closest spot.

And remember these steps for an easy return!
So remember the steps…
Collect your containers (be sure to look at what can be returned and look for the 10c mark)
Find spot to store them easily at home (you can use a box or bag, whatever you have around the house)
Return your containers and decide whether you want a digital refund, vouchers that you can use for shopping, or donate to your favourite charity!
