Autumn School Holidays at Scienceworks
/Autumn is a great time to visit Scienceworks. They have some great exhibitions as usual plus lots of other school holiday activities too!
Mamma says make sure you catch a Fulldome Flick at the Planetarium every Saturday in April, May and June and get ready folks as Scienceworks are also opening up a new exhibition Tinker Town - just in time for the school holidays. Plus catch The Glow Show and Good Vibrations in the amphitheatre too!

Something for little ones to look forward to every year – Fulldome Flicks is back at the Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks this April, May, and June!
This world-class cinema experience is designed for the immersive ‘fulldome’ screen, bringing stunning films that will captivate the whole family.

The Glow Show

Take a seat in the Lightning Theatre and be mesmerised by this visually stunning 30-minute live science show.
Be in awe of the science of glow and explore the fascinating processes behind luminosity, including the many ways a glow can be produced. Discover the science of fluorescence, how animals can appear bright at night and the brilliant, coloured effects of using different materials to make light.
In the spectacular finale, witness our giant Tesla coil light up the theatre with lightning using more than 2 million volts of electricity
