Mamma kiddos have always love circus type classes - it’s fun, mixed with fitness and skill building. Women’s Circus is a not-for-profit feminist arts organisation based in the Drill Hall in West Footscray. They offer a year-round program of community, circus and performance training. They have classes for kids of all ages from 2 -17.

Below is an outline of each of the classes on offer:
Brand new Tiny Tots (2-3 years) and Mini Monkeys (4-5 years) classes offer a chance for the littlest kiddos to join in the circus fun, all while bonding with their parent or guardian. Watch as they build balance, coordination and social skills.
Tint Tots: For 2 to 3 year olds. A unique interactive class designed to introduce your child to circus at an early age. You and your child will work together to explore activities such as obstacle courses, acrobalance, juggling, basic tumbling, low trapeze, silks, mini-tramp and more.
Your Tiny Tot will develop physical confidence, balance and coordination in a fun and supportive space. Open to parents of a marginalised gender, with kids of all genders welcome.
Please note: Carers are required to stay and participate in this class to support your child in our fun circus activities. A great way to spend time together and learn new skills too!
Prior skills: none, beginners welcome
Price: $110 Full | $88 Concession
Mini monkeys: For 4 to 5 year olds. This unique interactive class is designed to introduce your child to circus at an early age. Working together, you and your child will explore activities such as obstacle courses, acrobalance, juggling, basic tumbling, low trapeze, silks, mini-tramp and more.
Your Mini Monkey will develop self-confidence, balance and social skills in a fun and supportive space. Open to parents of a marginalised gender, with kids of all genders welcome.
Please note: Carers are required to stay and participate in this class to support your child in our fun circus activities. A great way to spend time together and learn new skills too!

Kids classes:
For those a little bigger, Trainee Tumblers (6-8 years) and Middle Kids (9-12 years) are the perfect after school activity. Children develop motor skills, spatial awareness, strength and flexibility while making friends and having a whole lot of fun!
Trainee Tumblers: For 6 to 8 year olds. The perfect after school activity! Drop the kids off at our fully equipped training centre and let us introduce them to the magic of circus. In this program led by expert trainers, your child will get a chance to try aerials, acrobalance, stilt walking, juggling, hula hooping and more! Children develop motor skills, body and spatial awareness, strength and flexibility while making friends. Designed for children of all genders.

Middle kids: For 9 to 12 year olds. The perfect after school activity! Drop the kids off at our fully equipped training centre and let us introduce them to the magic of circus. Teens:
For teens (aged 13-17) who belong to a marginalised gender, there is a range of WeFo Teen classes including Circus Allsorts, Aerials, and Acro/Tumbling. Circus Allsorts offers a space to explore different specialties and learn a range of skills including aerials, acrobalance, juggling, manipulation, handstands, tumbling and ensemble performance.

Women’s Circus also host birthday parties! Our birthday parties cater to all ages, skill levels, genders and abilities. Women’s Circus strives to be as accessible to everyone as possible. Please let us know of any access needs your group requires.
Package includes
· 1.5 hour circus workshop to try tumbling, aerials, games, juggling and more.
· Access to fully equipped kitchen and community room for post-circus workshop festivities.
· 30 minutes of time for cake and food (not provided)

Prices range from $110-$247 per term
No membership needed to access all kids classes. All classes for kids under 12yrs are open to children of all genders.
All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who belong to a marginalised gender can access the training programs for free.
