werribee south beach, werribee south
/Hidden away between all the market gardens of Werribee and the mouth of the Werribee River is this lovely spot, Werribee South Beach. It's quiet, pretty and has so much to explore! There is plenty of grass to laze away the day or walk the shelly beach to collect treasures, go for a play at the two playgrounds close by OR of course dip your feet in the ocean! You can swim here but Mamma prefers to head to Altona Beach or Williamstown Beach with the kiddos.
This is one of those beaches you can explore in both winter and summer!
Mamma's special mention: Duck across the road to Price Reserve playground or head up the path to JD Bellin Reserve for a play - oh and pop into the takeaway (Anglers Anchorage) adjacent for an 'old school' treat, coffee or sanga.
Wyndham Harbour only a short drive away, go and take a look!
