Hidden in the centre of Footscray by the riverside, is the gorgeous little conservation nature reserve, Newell’s Paddock. Haven to some beautiful birdlife - you will spot swans, cranes and ducks. Fenced in to protect the habitat it’s a lovely little pit stop if you are riding along the Maribyrnong River Trail. Just outside the conservation reserve wetlands is the park with soccer goals, bbq and lots of green space to run around in.
