When we say perfect imagine a secluded spot that is ss stunning, right on the water, with lovely dappled light from the huge trees and an old wooden picnic table.

You are sure to spot some bird life and look carefully across the river and you may even spot a giraffe or two! Yes, the Werribee Open Range Zoo Savannah is right across the river. How amazing.

There is a gorgeous picture frame sculpture at the top of the stairs leading down the the picnic table - which is perfect for a family photo opportunity.

Mamma's special mention: This spot is situated right next to the Werribee Heritage Orchard and if you venture through there and up the other stair you will come to the Werribee community gardens, this is a great place to explore with barns, chickens, gardens and lots of open space. Of course Werribee Park Mansion grounds are great and on weekend The Little Red rain operates too.
